
Introductory meeting and press conference of the SI-N-CRO project in Koper
On March 1, 2026, the two-year international project SI-N-CRO - Modern
innovative approaches in stroke rehabilitation, co-financed from European funds
funds for regional development within the Interreg program Slovenia-Croatia 2021-2027.
Scientific and research center Koper is the coordinator of the project on Thursday, March 19, 2026
hosted the introductory meeting and agreed with the project partners on the further course of the project
activities, the organizational implementation of the project, the timetable and individual executive orders
partner. In addition to ZRS Kopra, the consortium consists of General Hospital Izola and General Hospital
Pula ter Special Hospital 'Martin Horvat' Rovinj.
The goal of the project is to provide an improved and unified service in the field of healthcare
in the cross-border area of the Coastal-Karst Region and the County of Istria. We will upgrade the existing one
network of public health institutions and ensured the development and long-term implementation of innovative
joint action plan for improved and unified stroke rehabilitation. Z
realization of the project goal will reduce the difference in accessibility to optimal rehabilitation
the cross-border area in question. As part of the project, the partners will upgrade medical facilities
equipment with the establishment of so-called smart rooms and developed modern rehabilitative ones
approach and education for healthcare workers.
After the introductory meeting, a press conference was held for the media, where all the project members were
partners presented the goals, activities and expected results of the SI-N-CRO project.
