Rovinj, October 30, 2026 - Special Hospital for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation "Martin Horvat" Rovinj-Rovigno has announced the public procurement procedure for medically certified devices for the rehabilitation of patients after a stroke within the framework of the international project SI-N-CRO.
The subject of the procurement includes modern devices and systems for neurorehabilitation that will contribute to improving the quality, accessibility and efficiency of rehabilitation procedures for people who have suffered a stroke. The estimated value of the procurement is EUR 66,080.00.
The SI-N-CRO project is implemented in partnership with the Koper Science and Research Center, Izola General Hospital, Pula General Hospital and the Martin Horvat Special Hospital Rovinj-Rovigno. The aim of the project is to improve the early rehabilitation of patients after stroke through the application of advanced information and communication technologies and the development of joint cross-border solutions in healthcare.
By purchasing new equipment, the Martin Horvat Special Hospital will further strengthen its capacity to provide modern rehabilitation services and provide patients with access to innovative neurorehabilitation methods. The equipment and associated software will remain permanently owned by the hospital, while maintenance, technical support, and software upgrades will be provided for the duration of the project.
The SI-N-CRO project responds to the common challenges of the healthcare system in the cross-border area of the Istria County and the Coastal-Krast region and contributes to reducing inequalities in access to healthcare for people after stroke. Through the cooperation of the project partners, the prerequisites for the development of a unique and modern approach to patient rehabilitation in Croatia and Slovenia are created.
