He joined the Special Hospital for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation "Martin Horvat" Rovinj-Rovigno in 2021. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka, and gained experience as a specialist in neurology at the Clinic of Neurology at the Clinical Hospital Center Rijeka, where he was employed from 2013 to 2021. He completed the postgraduate study "Biomedicine and Health" at the Medical Faculty of the University of Rijeka and defended his doctoral dissertation entitled "Local inflammatory response in intraventricular administration of recombinant tissue plasminogen activator in the treatment of primary cerebral hemorrhage with penetration into the ventricular system in 2020." At the beginning of 2021, he was appointed to a permanent scientific title as a research associate.
From 2013 to 2021, in addition to clinical neurology, he works as a teaching assistant at the Department of Neurology, University of Rijeka, and teaches clinical skills and practical theory of neurology to fourth-year students at the Study of Medicine in Croatian and the Study of Medicine in English.
He is the author and co-author of several scientific papers in the field of neurology in internationally indexed scientific journals as well as several dozen conference papers and lectures at domestic and foreign congresses and professional conferences.
He is a member of the Croatian Neurological Society, the Croatian Medical Association, the Croatian Medical Chamber, and the European Neurological Society.
