She graduated in 1985 from the Faculty of Special Education at the University of Zagreb, majoring in speech therapy. She completed her post-graduate studies in 1996 and obtained the title of Master of Social Sciences. From 1987 to 2022, she worked in a social welfare institution in Zagreb as a speech therapist, and then as head of the Early Intervention Department. She acquired and promoted knowledge and experience as:
- external associate of the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation of the University of Zagreb as a mentor in conducting student exercises, practice and volunteering
- leader of the Workshop "Mother and Child" within the program "A good start for everyone: professional support for vulnerable children of an early age and their environment" / HURID /
- leader of the Workshop with parents in particularly demanding circumstances of parenthood Let's grow together and we / Parenting support center "Let's grow together" /
- external expert at the Institute for Expertise, Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities, Zagreb
- counselor at the Counseling Center for Early Child Development - Telefončić / UNICEF /
- speech therapist at the "Smile" Association - the Croatian Society for Optimizing the Development of Neuro-Risk Children
Since November 2022, he has been living in Istria and working as a speech therapist in a preschool institution. The early intervention team of the Special Hospital for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation "Martin Horvat" Rovinj is joining in August 2022.
She is a member of the Croatian Speech-Language Society / HLD / and the Croatian Association for Early Intervention in Childhood / HURID /
