Dina Dežmar

Dina Dežmar, master's degree in educational rehabilitation, specialist in early intervention in educational rehabilitation and psychotherapist of Integrative psychotherapy, has 20 years of experience in working with children with developmental disabilities, people with disabilities and their families.

She graduated in 2004 from the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation in Zagreb, passed the professional exam in 2005 and completed the Integrative Psychotherapy education in 2012. Throughout her career in the educational system, she received awards for excellence in the field of teaching, and was promoted to the title of teacher mentor in 2020. year, and in March 2024, she completed the postgraduate specialist study of early intervention, further enriching her professional knowledge.

Over the years, she actively participates and presents her knowledge and experience at professional and scientific gatherings and symposia, county professional councils, conducts workshops for parents and complements her work with numerous other volunteer activities.

Since 2019, he has been actively participating in all phases of the development of the Team for Early Intervention of the Rovinj Special Hospital, and in August 2020 he started working as an expert associate rehabilitative rehabilitator. In addition to team assessment and diagnostics, she conducts individual and group educational-rehabilitation treatments, counseling parents and is a mentor to students of educational rehabilitation who perform professional practice at the Rovinj Special Hospital. 

Since 2021, as an expert partner, he has been part of the research team of the ENVISAGE Croatia project - a support program for families of children with developmental disabilities in preschool age in Croatia, which is implemented in cooperation with McMaster University and the CanChild organization from Canada. 

She is a member of the board of directors of the Croatian Chamber of Educational Rehabilitators (HKER), a member of the Croatian Chamber of Psychotherapists (HKPT) and the Croatian Association for Early Intervention in Childhood (HURID) with the aim of contributing to the development of the profession and promoting the quality of work in the field of educational rehabilitation and early intervention.
