Assoc. prof. dr. sc. Hari Jurdana, MD In 1987 he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka. He passed the specialist exam in orthopedics at the Clinic for Orthopedics of the Medical Faculty in Zagreb in 1997. He received his master's degree in 2006, and then his doctorate in 2011 at the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka. Since 1990 he has been employed as a doctor in Thalassotherapy Opatija, two years later he is employed as a doctor specializing in orthopedics at the Clinic for Orthopedics Lovran, and then as a specialist orthopedist. Since 2008 he has been an assistant at the Medical Faculty of the University of Rijeka at the Department of Orthopedics and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and since 2011 a senior assistant at the Medical Faculty of the University of Rijeka at the Department of Orthopedics and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Since 2013, he has been the assistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka, Department of Orthopedics and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In 2014, he received the recognition of the status of a specialist in the specialty of traumatology of the locomotor system. From 2017 to 2020, he was an assistant professor at the Department of Clinical Medical Sciences II, Faculty of Health Studies, University of Rijeka, in the teaching base of the Clinic for Orthopedics Lovran.
In 2014, he was elected a senior research associate in the field of biomedicine and health-field of clinical medical science. In his professional work, he studied abroad, but also in continuing education courses recognized by the Croatian Medical Chamber. He trained scientifically and professionally at world-famous clinics. It is necessary to emphasize the stay in the Dutch Orthopedic Society of the Netherlands, Amsterdam, in the program of education of European orthopedists, In Austria, in the Osterrechische Arztegesellschaft fur Manuelle Medizin, is educated and trained in manual medicine and conservative orthopedics. He attended a course in musculoskeletal oncology at the Rizzola Orthopedic Institute, University of Bologna. He perfected the orthopedic technique of osteosynthesis in Davos, Switzerland, and in Germany, Hamburg-Norderstedt, he specialized in computer-assisted surgery.
He is also a recognized permanent court expert in traumatology and orthopedics at the Croatian Medical Chamber. He actively participates in teaching and scientific activities at the Department of Orthopedics and Physical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka. He is a member of several reputable scientific and professional associations: the Croatian Medical Association, the Croatian Medical Chamber, the Croatian Orthopedic Society, the Croatian Association of Orthopedists and Traumatologists.
Since 2020, he has been employed at the Special Hospital for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation "Martin Horvat" in Rovinj.
